A Tradition of Breaking Bread in Enterprise
For more than six generations, the Holt family has been part of the fabric of Enterprise — welcoming travelers, feeding neighbors, and creating a place where good food and good company naturally come together. That tradition began with James Holt, who settled near the mouth of Holt Canyon and built a gathering place for wagon travelers moving between Modena and St. George. What started as a simple stop along the road grew into a family legacy of hospitality, hard work, and community connection.
From the early ranch days to the Blue Bird Lunch Room — the café Joe’s grandparents opened in the heart of town — food has always been a way the Holt family brought people together. Summers spent peeling potatoes, running the cash register, and serving regulars shaped Joe’s earliest memories and instilled a love for the simple joy of sharing a meal.
Today, Joe’s Main Street Grill carries that heritage forward, honoring the stories, recipes, and relationships that have defined Enterprise for generations.

Joe’s Main Street Grill opens its doors in a location that many in Enterprise have known and loved for decades. For nearly 30 years, this building was home to Marv’s — a place where families gathered, teens grabbed late‑night shakes, and locals made memories over classic diner favorites.
While Joe’s is a brand‑new restaurant with its own identity, menu, and vision, we recognize the special place this location holds in the community. We’re proud to build on the spirit of connection and comfort that Marv’s brought to Enterprise, continuing the tradition of serving great food in a place that feels like home.
